Joseph G. Munisteri is president of the Joseph G. Munisteri Company, a firm that consults for engineering and construction firms throughout the world.  Mr. Munisteri is one of the founders of the Rice Global E&C Forum and delivered the keynote address at its inaugural meeting. 
 
Prior to founding the Joseph G. Munisteri Company in 1989, Mr. Munisteri served as Chairman of the Board, President, and CEO of Comstock Group of Engineering and Construction companies, President of ENSERCH  Engineering and Construction Inc., Group Vice President of Brown & Root, Inc., Executive Vice President of Ford Bacon & Davis, General Manager of the Lummus company in Houston, and held senior positions in the Petroleum and Power groups in Bechtel Corporation.
 
Mr. Munisteri has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Yale University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas. Mr. Munisteri is a member of several professional organizations, including the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, The National Society of Professional Engineers, the AICHE, the ASCE and other national engineering societies.
